Post Radio Settings
1. Download edcast :

http://www.oddsock.org/tools/edcast/

You want the STANDALONE version.


2. Install Edcast :

When your installing you will be offered some 'components to install'. The first three boxes are going to be ticked but you must also tick 'LAME encoder dll' aswell. This will ensure you can stream in MP3 format that everyone is compatible with.


3. Install LAME encoder dll :


Towards the end of installing Edcast a message box will pop up informing you that you must install a file called 'lame_enc.dll' into your Edcast program directory (usually c:\program files\edcastV3). Click NO as you can downoad the file here :

Copy the file into your Edcast program directory (usually c:\program files\ EdcastV3).


4. Load Edcast :

Click the desktop or start menu shortcut for Edcast to load it.


5. Adding Edcast encoder :

Click 'Add Encoder' on Edcast. This will add an entry in the white box below, double click on this to configure it.


6. Configuring encoders 'Basic Settings' :

Bit rate: 128

SampleRate : 44100 (default)

Channels : 2 (default, stereo)

EncoderType : MP3 Lame

ServerType : icecast

ServerIP : cp.internet-radio.org.uk

ServerPort : 15020

mountpoint : /live

Reconnect Seconds : 1

Password : Ask me :fangs:

stream name = (your name) on homegrownmusic radio

stream description = Live show

stream URL = http://77.92.68.221:15020/live.m3u

stream genre = what you play
